Education Programme

Empowering children and youth through inclusive learning, dropout prevention, and holistic potential development.

Education as a Vehicle for Social Transformation

With over 15 years of dedicated field experience in child welfare, KVSDS has been a beacon of learning for first-generation school-goers, dropouts, and socially disadvantaged children in rural Bengal. Believing that education is the root of empowerment, our programs focus on retaining children in formal schooling while nurturing moral values and life skills.

Our coaching and bridge-education centres ensure children overcome learning gaps and build strong foundational reading, writing, and arithmetic skills in an encouraging, fear-free environment.

Ramkrishna Non-Formal Education Centre

The Ramkrishna Non-Formal Education Centre is an essential safety net for children from socially excluded and destitute rural families who have either dropped out of the schooling system or never been enrolled. The centre provides accelerated remedial bridge education, personalized coaching, foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN), free stationery kits, uniforms, and nutritious midday snacks. Dedicated educators motivate children and counsel parents, successfully mainstreaming scores of vulnerable learners into formal government schools each academic term.

Computer Training Centre

Bridging the stark rural-urban digital divide, KVSDS operates a dedicated Computer Training Centre in the rural heartland. The lab is equipped with modern desktop workstations and trained IT instructors. Students, adolescent girls, and rural dropouts receive certified training in computer fundamentals, typing speed, MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), digital communication, Internet safety, and online administrative services, equipping them with essential 21st-century livelihood skills.
